The Wine

Every bottle of Mana Story Wines is perfectly age-crafted from the finest regions of California's wine country.

Passionate, professional storytellers by day and lovers of the vine by night, we started Mana Story Wines to set a new standard in what fine wine can say.

We feel a wine should be so rich in its character, so bold in its expression, so deep in its complexity, it yearns for us to lift that first glass to our parting lips, takeover our senses, and captivate us with its own story.

Dedeker Winston & Christopher Emerson created Mana Story Wines out of a passion for excellent storytelling and a shared love of great wines. Their lifelong creative careers have touched many differnt mediums of performance art, dance, writing, TV & film production, acting, motion capture, voice recording artisty, poetry, virtual reality enterprising, and much more.

Dedeker & Christopher are nomadic explorers by nature, spending large portions of the year traveling the world. They dedicate themselves to absorbing local customs, culture and languages to truly explore the culinary craftsmanship of a given region. Dedeker & Christopher's ever-expanding worldview of old and new world winemaking practices are present in every bottle of Mana Story Wines.

Wine is one of the most civilized things in the world and one of the most natural things of the world that has been brought to the greatest perfection, and it offers a greater range for enjoyment and appreciation than, possibly, any other purely sensory thing.”
― Ernest Hemingway, American Author (1899-1961)

Meet Justin

In 2013, Dedeker & Christopher met the brilliantly reknowned and gifted-genius winemaker, Justin Tatum, in a small, dark and dusty tasting room just outside of Malibu, California. Two hours & three glasses of his finest Cabernet Franc later, the wheels were set in motion on a journey that would ultimately lead to the creation of an entirely new kind of wine label and an inspiring new publishing destination for both established and aspiring writers.

Justin Tatum, resident winemaker, has produced hundreds of wines during his career. A gold medal from the San Francisco International Wine Competition adorned a previous winery’s 2010 syrah. A 91-point rating from Wine Enthusiast magazine attests to Justin's strengths for his crafting of a 2009 Cabernet Reserve of which the reviewer said, “Has plenty of elegant red plum and anise, and its tannins are present but not overwhelming.”
